Through design, we recalibrated how the lobby was used, strengthened the Marling Brand, and ensured our choices reflected the space's existing conditions.  We added a coffee bar to encourage conversation and casual meetings, updated the furniture, and modernized the space while incorporating natural textures and finishes. 

The Marling Apartments were, at one time, a lumber yard and millwork source.  We used this idea of fine craft as the design concept for this space.  Middle West Studio created beautiful mid-century pieces that played into the existing Sputnik light fixtures overhead.
