Through design, we recalibrated how the lobby was used, furthered the Marling Brand and ensure our choices reflected the existing conditions of the space. We added a coffee bar that would invite conversation and casual meeting and updated the furniture and focused on modernizing while bringing in natural textures and finishes.

The Marling Apartments were at one time, a lumber yard and millwork source. We used this idea of fine craft as the design concept for this space. Middle West Studio created beautiful mid century pieces that played into the existing sputnick light fixtures over head.
